Dedicating a pocket of the internet to yourself is a strange thing. Composing a slick bio to offer a glimpse of an artist's work or a snapshot of how one gets along in this world is even stranger. Phrasing it in the third person is by far the strangest. Some time before all of that was a prerequisite, Mathew Peluso grew up in the southern states of Texas and Arkansas. After a bit of meandering he found his way to what he now calls home in the Pacific Northwest. After several years of supporting other songwriters as a sideman his love of the story got the better of him. His sound has been described as this and that but Americana seems to fit the bill most of the time.
